After a rather tough play, Bridgnorth's Charles Mohamed got a free kick in the 5th minute. Moses Ogot got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Francis Mbugua handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Bridgnorth getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Charles Mohamed hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Bridgnorth's goalkeeper Francis Mbugua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Leakey. Charles Mohamed kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Moses Ogot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Mbugua having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool KN's zone, Felix Kipketer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remco Driel came out of the goal and Felix Kipketer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Moses Ogot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moses Ogot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Francis Mbugua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Liverpool KN getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Boyd Devine hit a great ball. When Carsten Kruijs came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Liverpool KN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carsten Kruijs couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Liverpool KN's Moses Ogot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Mbugua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Liverpool KN's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kipketer came free, but Remco Driel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Moses Ogot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Mbugua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Bridgnorth got a freekick which was hit by Charles Mohamed. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgnorth's zone, Kimutai Mwaura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Mbugua came out of the goal and Kimutai Mwaura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carsten Kruijs to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bridgnorth defense, Carsten Kruijs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francis Mbugua. The Bridgnorth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francis Mbugua should have stopped the shot. Felix Kipketer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Francis Mbugua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Leakey, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Bridgnorth's Felix Kipketer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remco Driel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Controller Valdo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridgnorth and the Liverpool KN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Leakey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Mbugua having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Liverpool KN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
