Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richard Nduro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Njeri Jonny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Masai in the 4th minute of play. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Haslingden United's Fredrick Koskei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Waroo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Bonaventure Adhiambo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Chingford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Griffin. 17 minutes into the game, Wilberforce Owino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chingford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haslingden United the free kick. With his leg John Waroo managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Haslingden United's Richard Nduro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Chingford AFC's goalkeeper John Waroo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrick Biwott. In the 20th minute, Njeri Kamoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Nduro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredrick Biwott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Waroo having to interfere. If Richard Nduro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chingford AFC's Wilberforce Owino got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Chingford AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. George Wangila hit a great ball. John Waroo stood somewhat misplaced when Richard Nduro came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. With a little luck, Chingford AFC's John Waroo got control of the ball when Richard Nduro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fredrick Biwott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. John Waroo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chingford AFC's John Waroo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Chingford AFC from getting a goal against them. Richard Nduros short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got John Waroo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Richard Nduro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Chingford AFC defense, Richard Nduro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Waroo. The Chingford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Waroo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Nduro in the 44th minute of play forced Chingford AFC's goalkeeper John Waroo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sudha Asati scored 4-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Waroo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Griffin to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Richard Nduro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Waroo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Richard Nduro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Waroo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Fredrick Koskei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Waroo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chingford AFC's zone, Richard Nduro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Waroo came out of the goal and Richard Nduro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haslingden United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
