In the 3rd minute Moses Ogot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carsten Kruijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nyamau having to interfere. When Eugeniusz Skaradoski came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Liverpool KN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Skaradoski couldn't finish the play. Thomas Leakey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nyamau having to interfere. Eugeniusz Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moses Ogot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julius Nyamau made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carsten Kruijs in the 15th minute of play forced Hazel Sport Club's goalkeeper Julius Nyamau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Moses Ogot made a precise shot to the right of Julius Nyamau. Hazel Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hazel Sport Club's Julius Nyamau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Ogot in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hazel Sport Club's zone, Thomas Leakey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Nyamau came out of the goal and Thomas Leakey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Nyamau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Skaradoski in the 36th minute of the match. Thomas Leakey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moses Ogot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julius Nyamau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool KN's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Leakey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josephat Adhiambo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hazel Sport Club's Julius Nyamau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Ogot in the 55th minute of play. Julius Nyamau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Skaradoski in the 56th minute of play. Liverpool KN's Thomas Leakey got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Leakey struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Julius Nyamau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool KN. If Thomas Leakey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josephat Adhiambo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Julius Nyamau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Ogot in the 63rd minute of the match. If Kimutai Mwaura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Leakey in the 68th minute of play forced Hazel Sport Club's goalkeeper Julius Nyamau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Leakey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Cheruiyot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nyamau having to interfere. Julius Nyamau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Leakey in the 76th minute of play. Julius Nyamau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moses Ogot in the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Eugeniusz Skaradoski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool KN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Skaradoski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Leakey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julius Nyamau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Julius Nyamau came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool KN's Thomas Leakey. But to his dismay, Thomas Leakey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Julius Nyamau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moses Ogot, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
