Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moses Rubia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Hazel Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Moses Rubia came free, but Julius Nyamau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurice Masai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josephat Adhiambo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Controller Waithaka in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurice Masai saved Accrington from getting behind. If Josephat Adhiambo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, John Ocholla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hazel Sport Club's Controller Waithaka got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wycliff Lukoye fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hazel Sport Club's protests and gave Wycliff Lukoye a yellow card for diving instead. Wycliff Lukoye hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Accrington's Ratemo Nekesa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hazel Sport Club's zone, Moses Rubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Nyamau came out of the goal and Moses Rubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ratemo Nekesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Nyamau having to interfere.
