After 14 played minutes Accrington got a freekick which was hit by Gideon Otunga. If George Wanjiru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Jeruto Muttendago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ocholla in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
54 minutes into the match, Accrington's goal looked a bit too open when George Wanjiru came free, but Maurice Masai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Accrington's zone, George Wanjiru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurice Masai came out of the goal and George Wanjiru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Gideon Otunga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Accrington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayswater the free kick. Gideon Otunga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Bayswater's George Wanjiru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurice Masai. Maurice Masai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 67 minutes into the match, Mike Waweru notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Accrington's Maurice Masai. Maurice Masai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, George Wanjiru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Masai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After a rather tough play, Accrington's Francis Onyango got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Maurice Masai acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Deepak Lukoye. Maurice Masai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Wanjiru in the 79th minute of play. Maurice Masai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Wanjiru in the 82nd minute of the match. Mike Waweru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Maurice Masai made a huge save. In the 91st match minute, Accrington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Ocholla to maneuver through the defense.
