But to his dismay, James Sarun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. James Sarun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julius Nyamau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Mulama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. When David Mulama came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the city club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Mulama couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, Hazel Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Munji to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, city club's Charles Otunga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julius Nyamau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in city club reached it. city club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
