Annscroft's Abdallah Ali Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Chepchumba in the 21st minute of play. Robert Kiplagat hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Fred Rutto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Restaurante Salento's Samson Kalekye in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Annscroft's corner Haroun Korir fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ngethe Mutuku quite easily take care of the ball. Abdallah Ali Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Chepchumba in the 43rd minute of the match. Samson Kalekye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Ali Maina having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samson Kalekye was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Annscroft's goalkeeper Abdallah Ali Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Githongo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Githongo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdallah Ali Maina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdallah Ali Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samson Kalekye in the 80th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Annscroft got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Onyii. Dan Songok blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdallah Ali Maina having to make a save. The Restaurante Salento players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Annscroft from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
