Evans Rono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evans Rono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrick Ntalami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Charles Wambui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evans Rono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Tatooine Local Club were awarded a corner. Fredrick Ntalami went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Tatooine Local Club's corner Fredrick Ntalami fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evans Rono quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Charles Wambui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dallas FC's Evans Rono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Charles Wambui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tatooine Local Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Wambua to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Joseph Lagat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatooine Local Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Lagat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evans Rono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ogembo Obala to maneuver through the defense. Dallas FC's Evans Rono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Wambui in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Wambui in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evans Rono saved Dallas FC from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Dallas FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Wambua. James Wanjiru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evans Rono. Dallas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tatooine Local Club's Charles Wambui got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Wanjohi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Myles Khayeshe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Evans Rono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Dallas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Wambui came free, but Evans Rono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Tatooine Local Club were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jackson Nduro to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Wambui could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Evans Rono however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Wambua to maneuver through the defense. Charles Wambui succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 58th playminute. In the 61st minute, Charles Wambui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tatooine Local Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Dennis Wanjohi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charles Wambui did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Evans Rono 67 minutes into the match. Fredrick Ntalami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evans Rono having to make a save. In the 75th minute, Tatooine Local Club's Charles Wambui dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Fredrick Ntalami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Charles Wambui lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Evans Rono. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jackson Nduro during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jackson Nduro to maneuver through the defense. Dallas FC's Evans Rono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dallas FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Charles Wambui took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Evans Rono to make any attempt to save it. When Myles Khayeshe came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tatooine Local Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myles Khayeshe couldn't finish the play. Tatooine Local Club's Charles Wambui got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tatooine Local Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
