Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) FLASH FC's Silvano Luzea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, FLASH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clinton Kariuki to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurst Green's McDonald Leakey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of John Alfie. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, FLASH FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Chege came free, but John Alfie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Alfie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Chege, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. McDonald Leakey scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Alfie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FLASH FC booed when Hurst Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Otieno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurst Green's Martin Chege slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of John Alfie. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. John Alfie made an important save on a dangerous shot by McDonald Leakey in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Clinton Kariuki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adah Keter sped through FLASH FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John Alfie. John Alfie came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hurst Green's Martin Chege. But to his dismay, Martin Chege quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. FLASH FC's John Alfie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adah Keter in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antony Asati got free with John Alfie in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Chege kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Alfie. That made the score 8-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adah Keter made a kick off. Martin Chege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. John Alfie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Adah Keter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLASH FC's John Alfie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FLASH FC's goal looked a bit too open when McDonald Leakey came free, but John Alfie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antony Asati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Adah Keter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. John Alfie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. John Alfie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Asati in the 62nd minute of play. McDonald Leakey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Alfie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from McDonald Leakey, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Silvano Luzea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Nyamau. Silvano Luzea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 10-1. John Alfie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from McDonald Leakey in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Adah Keter made it 11-1 with a short kick to the right side. FLASH FC's John Alfie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Antony Asati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by McDonald Leakey in the 89th minute of play forced FLASH FC's goalkeeper John Alfie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clinton Kariuki kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Kipchoge Njoroge sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FLASH FC's John Alfie didn't even have to move. McDonald Leakey took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Alfie. John Alfie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hurst Green had played much better football throughout.
