After 4 minutes, Wilson Yiampoy made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brighton's Nashon Nekesa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Yiampoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nashon Nekesa having to interfere. Silvano Luzea struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nashon Nekesa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLASH FC. The supporters of Brighton booed when FLASH FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clinton Kariuki didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Alfie made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Hassan Waroo sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Wilson Yiampoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nashon Nekesa. Brighton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Yiampoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nashon Nekesa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Luzea in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FLASH FC's goalkeeper John Alfie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nashon Nekesa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davis Onyango, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Silvano Luzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nashon Nekesa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Luzea ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FLASH FC booed when Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Nyambura didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FLASH FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FLASH FC's Silvano Luzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 played minutes FLASH FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Luzea. The supporters of FLASH FC booed when Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haji Pinches didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes FLASH FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Yiampoy. 39 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Josephat Mulama came free, but Nashon Nekesa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Silvano Luzea made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Brighton's Nashon Nekesa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronn Namasivayam hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Wangari Muta Kimutai came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and John Alfie could save by the left post.

The wind increased when Silvano Luzea made the kick off in the second half. Nashon Nekesa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Yiampoy came free, but Nashon Nekesa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nashon Nekesa was a little too slow when Silvano Luzea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. After 64 played minutes FLASH FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Luzea. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Clinton Kariuki managed to get in a good position for a shot. FLASH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clinton Kariuki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nashon Nekesa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silvano Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 played minutes Brighton got a freekick which was hit by James Chepkemei. FLASH FC's Josephat Mulama shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nashon Nekesa but with some difficulty. Silvano Luzea struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Nashon Nekesa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLASH FC. The audience was convinced that Silvano Luzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nashon Nekesa was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Nashon Nekesa came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FLASH FC's Wilson Yiampoy. But to his dismay, Wilson Yiampoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 83 minutes of play, FLASH FC's Silvano Luzea made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nashon Nekesa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, FLASH FC's Wilson Yiampoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nashon Nekesa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The FLASH FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when FLASH FC's Silvano Luzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FLASH FC played a much better game than Brighton and deserved their victory. The Brighton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
