KipKøntë fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when F.C. KipKøntë's James Asati looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 5th minute, Micheal Rutto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Micheal Rutto in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evans Rono saved Dallas FC from getting behind. James Asati had several of the Dallas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Evans Rono as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Maurice Shikwati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Njoroge was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 14th match minute, F.C. KipKøntë was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey Songok to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, F.C. KipKøntë's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Shikwati came free, but Ali Njoroge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoffrey Songok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Evans Rono managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when F.C. KipKøntë's Walter Rop fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, James Asati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evans Rono. Dallas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Asati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Eliud Kigotho hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jackson Nduro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Njoroge having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Rutto in the 42nd minute of play forced Dallas FC's goalkeeper Evans Rono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Asati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Evans Rono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jackson Nduro made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Dallas FC's Jackson Nduro got a free kick in the 50th minute. Dallas FC's Evans Rono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Asati in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dallas FC's Wilson Rono got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Walter Rop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evans Rono skillfully saved the ball. Walter Rop was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. KipKøntë's players had a chance to rest. After 60 minutes, Ogembo Obala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dallas FC and the F.C. KipKøntë players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Dallas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ogembo Obala to maneuver through the defense. Evans Rono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Micheal Rutto's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, James Asati notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Dallas FC's Evans Rono. Evans Rono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Walter Rop managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. KipKøntë's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Rop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evans Rono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evans Rono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Micheal Rutto scored 7-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evans Rono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that James Asati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evans Rono was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. If Jackson Nduro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Rop was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. KipKøntë's players had a chance to rest. The corner led F.C. KipKøntë's Walter Rop to fire away a dangerous shot which Evans Rono despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Evans Rono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliud Kigotho's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Walter Rop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evans Rono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
