Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Adah Keter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 11th minute, Hurst Green's Adah Keter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ngethe Mutuku. Ngethe Mutuku yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, Hurst Green's Adah Keter made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ngethe Mutuku was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Chege's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ngethe Mutuku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Hurst Green's McDonald Leakey made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ngethe Mutuku was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Samson Kalekye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ngethe Mutuku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adah Keter, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute Adah Keter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ngethe Mutuku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Akinyi to maneuver through the defense. Ngethe Mutuku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Chege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Nyamau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Israel in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Restaurante Salento's Ngethe Mutuku got control of the ball when McDonald Leakey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Dadi's late challenge caught a Restaurante Salento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Dadi helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hurst Green! Robert Kiplagat walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Restaurante Salento's Ngethe Mutuku got control of the ball when McDonald Leakey tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Restaurante Salento's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Kiplagat in the 53rd minute. Restaurante Salento's Robert Kiplagat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Nyamau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Hurst Green's Peter Nyamau got control of the ball when Amos Chepchumba tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evans Shah. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samson Kalekye in the 62nd minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ngethe Mutuku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from McDonald Leakey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Hurst Green players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
