Kimani Obondo's late challenge caught a Hurst Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kimani Obondo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to George Weahs Academy getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kimani Obondo hit a great ball. Peter Nyamau made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Franco Burgos sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hurst Green fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Hurst Green:s Peter Nyamau showed great skill when he stopped Francis Birir:s penalty. After 21 played minutes Franco Burgos rounded Hurst Green's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Chege in the 24th minute of play forced George Weahs Academy's goalkeeper Aggelos Telakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ngina Njoroge got free with Peter Nyamau in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aggelos Telakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Chege in the 29th minute of play. Antony Asati kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Hurst Green's Peter Nyamau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Hurst Green from getting a goal against them. Aggelos Telakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adah Keter in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Duncan Yiampoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurst Green's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave George Weahs Academy the free kick. The supporters of George Weahs Academy booed when Hurst Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Yiampoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Francis Birir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Nyamau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th match minute, Hurst Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Dadi to maneuver through the defense.

Peter Nyamau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
