Lance Le Saux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wesley Huckerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Laverick scored 0-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ed Hammond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Jake Smith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Huckerby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A hard shot by Patrick Kitchen from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Ed Hammond's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 80 minutes into the match, North Walsham's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Smith came free, but Wesley Huckerby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Le Saux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The penalty shot was made by John Styles, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of North Walsham's Wesley Huckerby. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. North Walsham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
