Spectators: 10519 (Terracing: 8000, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 219) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Syd Abbotts started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gatwick City's goal looked a bit too open when Calum Holt came free, but Okanalp Tuncer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 狄迪傲 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Joel Beckham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Woodbridge's zone, 狄迪傲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Beckham came out of the goal and 狄迪傲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Woodbridge's Joel Beckham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄迪傲 in the 10th minute of play. 狄迪傲 might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Beckham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 狄迪傲 ran back to his position shaking his head. 狄迪傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doug Wiltshire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joel Beckham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, 狄迪傲 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joel Beckham to make any attempt to save it. Hugh Pope received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Beckham came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugh Pope slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Gatwick City's Wojciech Kostka got a free kick in the 27th minute. Okanalp Tuncer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Gardner in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, 狄迪傲 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joel Beckham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 狄迪傲 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Beckham having to make a save. 狄迪傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 狄迪傲 got free with Joel Beckham in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gatwick City's Doug Wiltshire got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 狄迪傲s short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Joel Beckham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joel Beckham was a little too slow when Hugh Pope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 狄迪傲 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 狄迪傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 狄迪傲 took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Beckham. Joel Beckham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When Doug Wiltshire came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gatwick City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doug Wiltshire couldn't finish the play. Joel Beckham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄迪傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 狄迪傲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Beckham came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Gatwick City's Nicolas Sarmento. But to his dismay, Nicolas Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Gatwick City's Doug Wiltshire got a free kick in the 75th minute. Joel Beckham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doug Wiltshire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Joel Beckham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Hugh Pope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Joel Beckham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 90 played minutes Gatwick City got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Sarmento. 狄迪傲's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Beckham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Gatwick City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
