After 5 minutes, Don Cotterill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alwinton FC and the Big Boys FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Aguirre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Bowler's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play Alwinton FC's Don Cotterill was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 26 played minutes Alwinton FC got a freekick which was hit by Don Cotterill. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Inge in the 29th minute of play forced Big Boys FC's goalkeeper Maximino Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alwinton FC's goalkeeper Connor Rouse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Inge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eri Zumarnis fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Big Boys FC's protests and gave Eri Zumarnis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alwinton FC booed when Big Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eri Zumarnis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Tigran Kazaryan made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Alwinton FC defense, Tigran Kazaryan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Connor Rouse. The Alwinton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Connor Rouse should have stopped the shot. Maximino Aguirre made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Feliberto Inge sent off a good shot on target. With 56 minutes on the clock, Jools Topham commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Big Boys FC booed when Alwinton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jools Topham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Ross Bakewell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Big Boys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ross Bakewell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Alwinton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Bond to maneuver through the defense. Tigran Kazaryan took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Connor Rouse. Connor Rouse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Connor Rouse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tigran Kazaryan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Connor Rouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tigran Kazaryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Alwinton FC got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Hall. Big Boys FC's Kyle Cotton was substituted for Ross Bakewell. After 70 played minutes Alwinton FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Bond. After a defensive mix-up in Alwinton FC's zone, Yanniek Van Beringen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Connor Rouse came out of the goal and Yanniek Van Beringen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor Rouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 81 minutes into the game, Big Boys FC's Tigran Kazaryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Connor Rouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Big Boys FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yanniek Van Beringen in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Big Boys FC's corner Kyle Cotton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Connor Rouse quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Alwinton FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Shaun Hall hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Tigran Kazaryan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Big Boys FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
