Seating: 2162, VIP seats: 188) Otley's Johnathon Beesley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Phil Johnston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Connor Rouse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Alwinton FC's Connor Rouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Warburton in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Alwinton FC's Feliberto Inge made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jack Warburton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reuben Reeve hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Otley's Jack Warburton got control of the ball when Feliberto Inge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jack Warburton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Cotterill went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Feliberto Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Warburton having to interfere. Connor Rouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathon Beesley in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Alwinton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Warburton came free, but Connor Rouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Feliberto Inge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Warburton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 29th minute, Feliberto Inge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan Bayne during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nathan Bayne hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Feliberto Inge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jack Warburton. Otley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Inge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Don Cotterill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jack Warburton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Alwinton FC's Shaun Hall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 43rd minute, Feliberto Inge made a precise shot to the right of Jack Warburton. Otley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Otley's zone, Don Cotterill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Warburton came out of the goal and Don Cotterill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Inge made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Feliberto Inge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alwinton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Inge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Don Cotterill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathon Beesley in the 55th minute of play forced Alwinton FC's goalkeeper Connor Rouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Warburton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cotterill in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Don Cotterill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jack Warburton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Shaun Hall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Warburton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alwinton FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Don Cotterill in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Don Cotterill got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jack Warburton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Feliberto Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Feliberto Inge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Warburton was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 77 played minutes Alwinton FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Bond. Johnathon Beesley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Connor Rouse came out and tried to block the shot, but Johnathon Beesley slotted it home off the left post making it 8-1 in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Feliberto Inge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jack Warburton. Otley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Inge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. The supporters of Otley booed when Alwinton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Bond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Inge in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Warburton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Alwinton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Bayne came free, but Connor Rouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alwinton FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
