Christopher Lofthouse might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Frost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Kadri Şerafeddin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeferino Matos got free with Philip Frost in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vince Duckworth hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Shabab Rafah's Jaime Quintan was substituted for Zeferino Matos. Shabab Rafah's Sammy Cegielski was substituted for Kadri Şerafeddin. When the final whistle sounded Shabab Rafah left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shoeburyness City.
