Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vern Wiley took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Hadleigh United getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Glyn Couzens hit a great ball. Harvey Simms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Christian Lambert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Atkinson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Daniel Saunders came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Newcastle-upon-Tyne City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Saunders couldn't finish the play. Christian Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Gallacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sol Gallacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sol Gallacher scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Lambert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Sol Gallacher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Christian Lambert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sol Gallacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Sol Gallacher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newcastle-upon-Tyne City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Hadleigh United's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Simms came free, but Christian Lambert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Harvey Simms notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Hadleigh United's Christian Lambert. Christian Lambert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hadleigh United's Christian Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Gallacher in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sol Gallacher to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Newcastle-upon-Tyne City's Harvey Simms slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Lambert. That made the score 0-6 after 52 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Saunders got free with Christian Lambert in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Sol Gallacher could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Christian Lambert however easily saved by the left post. Sol Gallachers short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Christian Lambert to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 59 played minutes Hadleigh United got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Couzens. 63 minutes into the match, Sol Gallacher dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Lambert, 0-7. If Vern Wiley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th match minute, Hadleigh United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Atkinson to maneuver through the defense. Christian Atkinson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hadleigh United's Glyn Couzens got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hadleigh United's Christian Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Hyde in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Saunders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sol Gallacher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Lambert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sean Hutchinson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 89 minute of play. Sol Gallacher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Christian Lambert made a huge save. The Hadleigh United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newcastle-upon-Tyne City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
