When Nicky Little came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the That Ras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Little couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Callum Sanderson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Beckham. Nicky Little fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Beckham having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Nicky Little got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Woodbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Little came free, but Joel Beckham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodd Bridgewater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Abbotts, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
