An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathon Beesley in the 18th minute of play forced Big Boys FC's goalkeeper Maximino Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Juteau kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Scott Eastwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Phil Johnston notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Big Boys FC's Maximino Aguirre. Maximino Aguirre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Big Boys FC's Tigran Kazaryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Warburton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Wen Peng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Warburton having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Johnathon Beesley fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otley's protests and gave Johnathon Beesley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Otley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathon Beesley to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wen Peng in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Warburton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes of play, Big Boys FC's Wen Peng made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jack Warburton was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 minutes, Viktor Gašparík mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Big Boys FC and the Otley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, one of Big Boys FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Big Boys FC. Jack Warburton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Dybala in the 77th minute of play. Wen Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Warburton having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Tigran Kazaryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Warburton was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 90th minute Tigran Kazaryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Warburton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Otley's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Peng came free, but Jack Warburton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Aguirre having to interfere. Big Boys FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
