Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ollie Davey kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, Hadleigh United's Glyn Couzens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cody York made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Davey in the 15th minute of play forced Hadleigh United's goalkeeper Christian Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ booed when Hadleigh United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Clapham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oliver Harding hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Perry Sawyer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cody York showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ollie Davey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Christian Lambert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 28 played minutes Hadleigh United got a freekick which was hit by Christian Atkinson. A collision led to Hadleigh United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Glyn Couzens hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Oliver Harding shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Lambert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ reached it. In the 37th minute of the match ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ got a corner. Hadleigh United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Harding ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Silvester Knight heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 40th minute Ollie Davey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lambert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Ollie Davey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hadleigh United's Christian Lambert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ollie Davey put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Lambert. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's zone, Joe Glasby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody York came out of the goal and Joe Glasby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vern Wiley to strike the kick off in the second half. When ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ollie Davey in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Christian Lambert guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hadleigh United's Christian Atkinson got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Christian Atkinson off the ground. In the 59th minute, Christian Atkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hadleigh United's zone, Ollie Davey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Lambert came out of the goal and Ollie Davey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Ollie Davey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Turner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Glyn Couzens was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Glyn Couzens hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Harding to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Davey in the 86th minute of play forced Hadleigh United's goalkeeper Christian Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Turner's late challenge caught a Hadleigh United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Turner helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ivan Turner hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Ollie Davey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lambert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
