With a little luck, Shluhot's Amariya Gross got control of the ball when Benayahu Katabi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, FC Ilanya's goal looked a bit too open when Barachia Plotkin came free, but Nati Schultz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zakkai Monti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nati Schultz having to interfere. A collision led to FC Ilanya getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Erel Kavod hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Shluhot's Hosea Garon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nati Schultz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Zakkai Monti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Rivai Duany came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FC Ilanya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rivai Duany couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ilanya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Shluhot. The FC Ilanya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shluhot were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rivai Duany to strike the kick off in the second half. Shluhot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, FC Ilanya's Benayahu Katabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amariya Gross narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Ilanya's Benayahu Katabi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Choni Dalahl charged in rather forcefully in the 100th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Shluhot supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shluhot would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
