Spectators: 7732 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Navon Stiebel kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Princeton University's Navon Stiebel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamuz Rosenstock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Avisar Rifkind might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samson Tedesco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Avisar Rifkind ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ashkelon Tigres's Able Hoss got a free kick in the 11th minute. Navon Stiebel scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamuz Rosenstock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 played minutes Princeton University got a freekick which was hit by Shimshon Angel. When Zeev Going came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ashkelon Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeev Going couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Purian during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ashkelon Tigres's Jimmy Purian got a free kick in the 24th minute. Benjamino Kromm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tamuz Rosenstock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Able Hoss hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ashkelon Tigres defense, Benjamino Kromm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tamuz Rosenstock. The Ashkelon Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tamuz Rosenstock should have stopped the shot. Samson Tedesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeev Going in the 36th minute of play. Benjamino Kromm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ashkelon Tigres's Tamuz Rosenstock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamino Kromm in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes, Shimshon Angel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Princeton University and the Ashkelon Tigres players grew even worse after the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 63rd minute Avisar Rifkind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samson Tedesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navon Stiebel kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Princeton University's Navon Stiebel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tamuz Rosenstock. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. In the 79th minute Ashkelon Tigres were awarded a corner. Ram Ostfeld went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 83rd minute of the match Ram Ostfeld sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samson Tedesco skillfully saved the ball. Zeev Going recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samson Tedesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avisar Rifkind in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navon Stiebel in the 95th minute of play forced Ashkelon Tigres's goalkeeper Tamuz Rosenstock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Princeton University defense, Zeev Going kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samson Tedesco. The Princeton University fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samson Tedesco should have stopped the shot. The Ashkelon Tigres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Princeton University's performance. The match ended with a win for Princeton University.
