After a rather tough play, Kabul's Yefet Wax got a free kick in the 25th minute. Yaron Claman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuval Garfunkel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Meir Israel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC ASHKELON's supporters rose to their feet, but Meir Israel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuval Garfunkel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaron Claman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Yuval Garfunkel 31 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Yaron Claman in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Yuval Garfunkel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaron Claman's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Avinoach Yosefi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuval Garfunkel having to interfere. Yuval Garfunkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaron Claman in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Kabul got a freekick which was hit by Ruby Guntha. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Yaron Claman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuval Garfunkel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaron Claman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soma Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Castelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Meir Israel put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yuval Garfunkel. The audience was convinced that Yaron Claman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuval Garfunkel was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 87 minutes into the game, Liam Castelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kabul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC ASHKELON the free kick. After 87 played minutes Kabul got a freekick which was hit by Liam Castelo.
