Gunnerz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabe Kael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Barthel Khatzir threw the ball into play from the sideline. Trabzonspor FK's Raimo Odar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nasko Chandrev scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Udi Lieberman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Nasko Chandrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udi Lieberman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achiezer Guttman made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trabzonspor FK's Przemyslaw Frankowski. Barthel Khatzir's late challenge caught a Trabzonspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barthel Khatzir helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gunnerz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Barthel Khatzir hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Gunnerz got a freekick which was hit by Achiezer Guttman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasko Chandrev in the 61st minute of play forced Gunnerz's goalkeeper Udi Lieberman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Avishai Pizanti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Trabzonspor FK's Nasko Chandrev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
