Shezor's Marco Margolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Uriah Hildesheimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Margolis. Shezor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriah Hildesheimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Uriah Hildesheimer ran back to his position shaking his head. The Maccabi Netanya fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Maccabi Netanya's Uriah Hildesheimer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Maccabi Netanya were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Erez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Shezor's Tsafrir Golob got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Uriah Hildesheimer lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Marco Margolis. 60 minutes into the match, Shezor's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian-Gustavo Ronaldinho came free, but Marco Margolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tsafrir Golob's late challenge caught a Maccabi Netanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
