After 15 minutes Maccabi Netanya's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Moise who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Trabzonspor FK's corner Thomás Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dedê Hermes quite easily take care of the ball. Dedê Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasko Chandrev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gu Jing Zhen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Nasko Chandrev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikola Vlašić made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trabzonspor FK's Przemyslaw Frankowski. Maccabi Netanya's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
