Uriah Hildesheimer took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aba Ben-Yakar. Aba Ben-Yakar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nikola Vlašić kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriah Hildesheimer in the 26th minute of play forced סיפורים מהקופסא's goalkeeper Aba Ben-Yakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toviyahu Tiferet during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maccabi Netanya getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Toviyahu Tiferet hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Maccabi Netanya's Genadi Rod shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aba Ben-Yakar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maccabi Netanya reached it. After having played for 94 minutes, Uriah Hildesheimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maccabi Netanya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriah Hildesheimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maccabi Netanya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
