The shot was a little too simple and Marco Margolis could save by the left post. Yaakov Yakhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Margolis having to interfere. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Yaakov Yakhin sped through Shezor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Margolis. In the 30th minute, Yaakov Yakhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ron Erez was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot by Rafa Halberstam from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Jock Hornstein's attention.
