Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ntinos Mellisanidis kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes liverpool fc got a freekick which was hit by Timos Karagiotas. 7 minutes into the game, Charis Pentasferos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eugenios Kantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th match minute, Katafύllio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Iakovidis to maneuver through the defense. Daniil Kritikos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Candelario Azofra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenios Kantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Katafύllio defense, Candelario Azofra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenios Kantas. The Katafύllio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenios Kantas should have stopped the shot. Eugenios Kantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candelario Azofra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Katafύllio's zone, Charis Pentasferos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenios Kantas came out of the goal and Charis Pentasferos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Katafύllio's Eugenios Kantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candelario Azofra in the 31st minute of play. If Candelario Azofra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charis Pentasferos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the liverpool fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Pentasferos couldn't finish the play. Eugenios Kantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Kyriakos Paterakis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, liverpool fc's Candelario Azofra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenios Kantas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 67th minute Ntinos Mellisanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Skinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of liverpool fc booed when Katafύllio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinos Kalamaropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Katafύllio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Candelario Azofra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Katafύllio's Eugenios Kantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Katafύllio from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Marinos Kalamaropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well done corner resulted in Fokas Karakatsanis drilling the ball in to score 0-5 behind Katafύllio's goalkeeper. liverpool fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
