Giannis Sgouros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chelsea F.C booed when GAVANADES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Sgouros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaios Karachristos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Kontos having to interfere. Charilaos Moschogiannis might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Tylenda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charilaos Moschogiannis ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Tylenda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charilaos Moschogiannis in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Chelsea F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lambis Ksagorarakis to maneuver through the defense. Leon Tylenda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charilaos Moschogiannis in the 21st minute of the match. Vaios Karachristos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Errikos Kontos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simos Tsakiris charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simos Tsakiris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GAVANADES FC's Simos Tsakiris got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAVANADES FC's goalkeeper Errikos Kontos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, GAVANADES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Sarafis to maneuver through the defense. Errikos Kontos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Kotsopoulos in the 28th minute. When Argyris Kotsopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chelsea F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Kotsopoulos couldn't finish the play. Argyris Kotsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argyris Kotsopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Errikos Kontos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Argyris Kotsopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Kontos having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Chelsea F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Klotsidis came free, but Leon Tylenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Argyris Kotsopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaios Karachristos to strike the kick off in the second half. Errikos Kontos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaios Karachristos in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaios Karachristos in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Errikos Kontos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Klotsidis in the 58th minute of play forced Chelsea F.C's goalkeeper Leon Tylenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Chelsea F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Koufopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Argyris Kotsopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Argyris Kotsopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Argyris Kotsopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Errikos Kontos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Vaios Karachristos made a precise shot to the right of Errikos Kontos. GAVANADES FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 85 minutes, Vaios Karachristos made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. GAVANADES FC's Errikos Kontos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Vaios Karachristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errikos Kontos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelios Manolas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the GAVANADES FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chelsea F.C.
