In the 3rd match minute, ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Dimitroulis to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, GAVANADES FC's Valentinos Sotiriou tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Christoforos Voukefalas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ's Sakis Karezis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Errikos Kontos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 played minutes, GAVANADES FC's Marios Kakavitsas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stelios Zavantias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GAVANADES FC reached it. In the 13th minute, Loukianos Bamias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelios Zavantias came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by GAVANADES FC's Pipis Klotsidis. But to his dismay, Pipis Klotsidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 19 played minutes ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ got a freekick which was hit by Loukianos Bamias. 24 minutes into the match, GAVANADES FC's goalkeeper Errikos Kontos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loukianos Bamias. After a rather tough play, GAVANADES FC's Vassilis Sarafis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Christoforos Voukefalas scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Errikos Kontos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 played minutes GAVANADES FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Bosoulas. Stelios Zavantias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Klotsidis in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ's goalkeeper Stelios Zavantias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Savas Gelis hit a great ball. If Charilaos Moschogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sakis Karezis to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GAVANADES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Karezis came free, but Errikos Kontos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charilaos Moschogiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Stelios Zavantias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Miltiadis Stathis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GAVANADES FC and the ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, GAVANADES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltiadis Stathis to maneuver through the defense. Stelios Zavantias made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Charilaos Moschogiannis sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, GAVANADES FC's Pipis Klotsidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelios Zavantias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ's zone, Charilaos Moschogiannis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Zavantias came out of the goal and Charilaos Moschogiannis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Christoforos Voukefalas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoforos Voukefalas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Errikos Kontos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenios Grigoropoulos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Miltiadis Stathis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Valentinos Sotiriou charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentinos Sotiriou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, GAVANADES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentinos Sotiriou to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ΑΜΠΑΛΟΙ ΠΑΙΚΤΑΙ fans cheered their team off the field, for while GAVANADES FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
