The crowd rose to their feet as Avesalσs FC's Dimitris Kalivrousis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vassilis Papardelas. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Avesalσs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoros Raftopoulos came free, but Apostolis Douzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Avesalσs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoros Raftopoulos came free, but Apostolis Douzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apostolis Douzas came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Menνoi FC's Isidoros Raftopoulos. But to his dismay, Isidoros Raftopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Raftopoulos in the 16th minute of play forced Avesalσs FC's goalkeeper Apostolis Douzas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolis Douzas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marinos Kounelakis went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thanasis Psichogiopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vassilis Papardelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pipis Kriaris might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apostolis Douzas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pipis Kriaris ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoros Raftopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Douzas having to interfere. When Marinos Kounelakis came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Menνoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Kounelakis couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marinos Kounelakis made a kick off. Marinos Kounelakis's late challenge caught a Avesalσs FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marinos Kounelakis helped the player get up and apologised. Vassilis Papardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Psichogiopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Alexandros Labetis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menνoi FC and the Avesalσs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Menνoi FC's Alexandros Labetis got a free kick in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Isidoros Raftopoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apostolis Douzas. Isidoros Raftopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 65 minutes into the match, Avesalσs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Kounelakis came free, but Apostolis Douzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menνoi FC's Isidoros Raftopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Giorgos Papagiannoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Menνoi FC's Isidoros Raftopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apostolis Douzas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoros Raftopoulos came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Apostolis Douzas could save by the left post. Kleon Ntountas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The audience cheered when Giannis Bellidis's long shot passed Apostolis Douzas's right side. It was 1-5, 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Avesalσs FC's Apostolis Douzas got control of the ball when Isidoros Raftopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marinos Kounelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Douzas having to interfere. Apostolis Douzas made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Isidoros Raftopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Isidoros Raftopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Avesalσs FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menνoi FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Menνoi FC.
