With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akis Giannakidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Yianνtsi's Alkaios Perakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Akis Giannakidis. That made the score 0-1 after 62 minutes of play. Akis Giannakidis made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Manolis Daniilidis sent off a good shot on target.
