Stratos Papalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Apostolis Douzas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanos Kanakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Douzas having to interfere. Stratos Papalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Thanasis Psichogiopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tsouknνda FC's Akis Giannakidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stratos Papalakis's late challenge caught a Avesalσs FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stratos Papalakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Tsouknνda FC got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Papalakis. Dimitris Kalivrousis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Akis Giannakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Soulis Georgakos put in a rough tackle. 21 minutes into the game, one of Tsouknνda FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tsouknνda FC:s Akis Giannakidis showed great skill when he stopped Sotiris Chrisopoulos:s penalty. Thanasis Psichogiopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Akis Giannakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akis Giannakidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Kalivrousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Thanasis Psichogiopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Giannakidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanasis Psichogiopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Giannakidis having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Tsouknνda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kalivrousis came free, but Akis Giannakidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanos Kanakakis was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dimitris Kalivrousis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Akis Giannakidis. Dimitris Kalivrousis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dimitris Kalivrousis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avesalσs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Kalivrousis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akis Giannakidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tsouknνda FC! In the 73rd minute Dimitris Kalivrousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Giannakidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dimitris Kalivrousis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Avesalσs FC's Dimitris Kalivrousis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tsouknνda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Apostolis Douzas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Kanakakis in the 85th minute of play. Thanos Kanakakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avesalσs FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
