Miltos Savakis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ronald Maerschalcx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giannis Katsarolidis in the 30th minute. If Panos Papalazarou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Vaios Kladakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varαkkes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaios Kladakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Achilleas Sapanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Paligiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Achilleas Sapanis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varαkkes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The titanes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Varαkkes were winning 0-2.

Achilleas Sapanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kleanthis Paligiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achilleas Sapanis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Kleanthis Paligiannis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varαkkes. With a little luck, titanes's Kleanthis Paligiannis got control of the ball when Achilleas Sapanis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, titanes's goal looked a bit too open when Theagenis Sofos came free, but Kleanthis Paligiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Sofos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Paligiannis having to interfere. Kleanthis Paligiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theagenis Sofos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Miltos Savakis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the titanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miltos Savakis couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Miltos Savakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Varαkkes's Ronald Maerschalcx didn't even have to move. The Varαkkes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
