In the 11th minute, Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Achilleas Sapanis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s zone, Theagenis Sofos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ntinos Papasotiriou came out of the goal and Theagenis Sofos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s Ntinos Papasotiriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theagenis Sofos in the 34th minute of play. Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s Ntinos Papasotiriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Voulcanos Lampenis F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Theagenis Sofos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ntinos Papasotiriou. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Theagenis Sofos made the kick off in the second half. Achilleas Sapanis took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ntinos Papasotiriou. Ntinos Papasotiriou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Theagenis Sofos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Maerschalcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Bekos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s Vaggelis Papadas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ntinos Papasotiriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilleas Sapanis in the 69th minute of play. Dimitris Bekos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Voulcanos Lampenis F.C.'s Dimitris Bekos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Maerschalcx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Voulcanos Lampenis F.C. booed when Varαkkes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofanis Pentaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Varαkkes's Ronald Maerschalcx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Varαkkes from getting a goal against them.
