Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Efthimis Rikkas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 4 minutes, Efthimis Rikkas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xechasmιni BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efthimis Rikkas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efthimis Rikkas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Xechasmιni BC's Efthimis Rikkas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alketas Gagatsis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Xechasmιni BC's Thrasivoulos Gaitanopoulos got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Giannis Maniatis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Arkochóri BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Maniatis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Georgiadis during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Kosmas Vitalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkochóri BC's Alketas Gagatsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Aggelatos in the 18th minute of play. Zinon Aggelatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alketas Gagatsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miltos Sinodinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michalis Papaggelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Sinodinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Xechasmιni BC's goalkeeper Michalis Papaggelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Maniatis. Michalis Papaggelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Sinodinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Xechasmιni BC's Michalis Papaggelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Xechasmιni BC from getting a goal against them. Miltos Sinodinoss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Michalis Papaggelis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thrasivoulos Gaitanopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thrasivoulos Gaitanopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Xechasmιni BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Gaitanopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Maniatis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Michalis Papaggelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltos Sinodinos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Maniatis in the 54th minute of play forced Xechasmιni BC's goalkeeper Michalis Papaggelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efthimis Kokkinopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Giannis Maniatis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michalis Papaggelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. When Arkochóri BC's Miltos Sinodinos in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xechasmιni BC's goalie prevented a goal. Michalis Papaggelis came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Arkochóri BC's Miltos Sinodinos. Miltos Sinodinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giannis Maniatis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michalis Papaggelis having to make a save. Efthimis Kokkinopoulos's late challenge caught a Arkochóri BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efthimis Kokkinopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xechasmιni BC's Efthimis Kokkinopoulos got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miltos Sinodinos in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Papaggelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michalis Papaggelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Maniatis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Michalis Papaggelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Maniatis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michalis Papaggelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Maniatis in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Arkochóri BC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tolis Bagasakis hit a great ball.
