Marinos Tochouroglou was a little too slow when Stratos Samoladas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, AEK's goalkeeper Marinos Tochouroglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timos Bakolas. In the 10th minute, Timos Bakolas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PANA8A.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Markos Mavrofidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Markas in the 17th minute of the match. Timos Bakolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Tochouroglou having to interfere. Marinos Tochouroglou didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 26th minute of the match Pantelis Giasemis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markos Mavrofidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Timos Bakolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, PANA8A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Markas came free, but Markos Mavrofidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Timos Bakolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PANA8A.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timos Bakolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of PANA8A.F.C booed when AEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themistoklis Macheras didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AEK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Themistoklis Macheras hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Nasos Gogolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Mavrofidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themis Markas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Markos Mavrofidis made a huge save. Timos Bakolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Tochouroglou having to interfere. Nasos Gogolos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markos Mavrofidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Themis Markass short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Markos Mavrofidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind PANA8A.F.C's goalkeeper Markos Mavrofidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PANA8A.F.C's Stamatis Pentarakis got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marinos Tochouroglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Bakolas in the 74th minute of the match. Marinos Tochouroglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timos Bakolas in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Stratos Samoladas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PANA8A.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Marinos Tochouroglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timos Bakolas's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AEK's zone, Stratos Samoladas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marinos Tochouroglou came out of the goal and Stratos Samoladas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the PANA8A.F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
