The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ilias Ligouris struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Dimitris Tsopakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mαrmaron BC. Ilias Ligouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Tsopakis having to interfere. Dimitris Tsopakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Ligouris in the 7th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Alkaios Koentas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Ligouris scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Tsopakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Demis Boukas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Sarigiannidis having to interfere. After 26th play minutes Ilias Ligouris shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Dimitris Tsopakis and just under the crossbar into goal. 31 minutes into the match, Tasos Maratos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Argyris Sarigiannidis. Mαrmaron BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tasos Maratos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 39 minutes into the game, Aris Pagitis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Argyris Sarigiannidis. Aris Pagitis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 43rd minute, Aris Pagitis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Argyris Sarigiannidis. The goal made the score 3-3. Argyris Sarigiannidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Pagitis in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Bourbos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Argyris Bourbos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dimitris Tsopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaios Seremetis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Ilias Ligouris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Dimitris Tsopakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Argyris Bourbos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dimitris Tsopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Mαrmaron BC's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Pagitis came free, but Argyris Sarigiannidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Tsopakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilias Ligouris in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Pegasus F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alkaios Koentas. Dimitris Tsopakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Bourbos in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Vaggelis Spiliopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argyris Bourbos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Tsopakis having to interfere. If Vaggelis Spiliopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Ilias Ligouris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mαrmaron BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
