Ilias Ligouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Takis Kakoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mαrmaron BC's Argyris Sarigiannidis got control of the ball when Menios Chrysafis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Argyris Bourbos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Kakoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilias Ligouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Bourbos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Takis Kakoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Bourbos in the 68th minute of the match. Takis Kakoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Bourbos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
