Theofanis Dedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Kechribaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ignatios Karipidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miltiadis Tsitsanis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Nestoras Kousouridis made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Fotis Papaevaggelou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geroplátanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eláti the free kick. Fotis Papaevaggelou kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Nestoras Kousouridis made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Thodoris Keskeridis sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Miltiadis Tsitsanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Geroplátanos's Omiros Kechribaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theofanis Dedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th match minute, Eláti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nontas Kimisis to maneuver through the defense. When Fotis Papaevaggelou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Nontas Kimisis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kousouridis having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Geroplátanos got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Pinezas. Nontas Kimisis struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Nestoras Kousouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eláti. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miltiadis Tsitsanis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Eláti got a corner. Geroplátanos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thodoris Keskeridis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ignatios Karipidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Dedes having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Manos Katopodis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes Eláti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demis Seletopoulos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Geroplátanos's corner Giannis Koutsikos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theofanis Dedes quite easily take care of the ball. Theofanis Dedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omiros Kechribaris in the 68th minute of the match. Filippos Skartados fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kousouridis having to interfere. When Nontas Kimisis came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Eláti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nontas Kimisis couldn't finish the play. Nontas Kimisis might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestoras Kousouridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nontas Kimisis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 minutes of play, Eláti's Nontas Kimisis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestoras Kousouridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Miltiadis Tsitsanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kousouridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltiadis Tsitsanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kousouridis having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Eláti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Papalexis to maneuver through the defense. Demis Seletopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theofanis Dedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Miltiadis Tsitsanis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestoras Kousouridis having to make a save. Filippos Skartados fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Kousouridis having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Geroplátanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Pinezas to maneuver through the defense. Eláti were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Geroplátanos for a fine match.
