Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nikos Palaviaris made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Menios Aggelopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 5 minutes, Stefanos Tsatsaronis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argyratika and the Skópelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, Skópelos's Alexis Papantoniou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorotheos Bolirakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alexis Papantoniou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Argyratika's zone, Nikos Palaviaris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorotheos Bolirakis came out of the goal and Nikos Palaviaris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argyratika's goalkeeper Dorotheos Bolirakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Skópelos's Alexis Papantoniou in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argyratika's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 played minutes Argyratika got a freekick which was hit by Avraam Loukopoulos. Dorotheos Bolirakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Papantoniou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Papantoniou in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorotheos Bolirakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Stefanos Tsatsaronis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Argyratika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefanos Tsatsaronis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Ravousis in the 42nd minute of play forced Skópelos's goalkeeper Filippos Katakouzinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexis Papantoniou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, Skópelos's Nikos Palaviaris made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorotheos Bolirakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manos Ravousis to strike the kick off in the second half. Filippos Katakouzinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Ravousis in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Skópelos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tasos Zabetakis hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Stavros Drougas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filippos Katakouzinos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Nikos Palaviaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefanos Tsatsaronis kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Skópelos's Alexis Papantoniou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorotheos Bolirakis. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. Kleon Adamakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Menios Aggelopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Argyratika's Dorotheos Bolirakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Palaviaris in the 86th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Skópelos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argyratika.
