In the 9th minute, Bogdan Glogowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Minas Gisgakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Iason Bethanis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ximpatzides FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave APE KJIREAS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ximpatzides FC's Iason Bethanis got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulfikar Sangaji in the 18th minute of play forced Ximpatzides FC's goalkeeper Minas Gisgakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Periklis Tavanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ximpatzides FC's zone, Bogdan Glogowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minas Gisgakis came out of the goal and Bogdan Glogowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulfikar Sangaji in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Minas Gisgakis saved Ximpatzides FC from getting behind. Bogdan Glogowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Minas Gisgakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Ximpatzides FC got a freekick which was hit by Iason Bethanis. Minas Gisgakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulfikar Sangaji, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Minas Gisgakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Glogowski in the 37th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Dimitris Panagiotopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Bogdan Glogowski in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Minas Gisgakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thodoris Moraitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charalambos Nikopolidis having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Zulfikar Sangaji managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. APE KJIREAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zulfikar Sangaji was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd play minute Bogdan Glogowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Minas Gisgakis. 0-3. In the 79th minute Periklis Tavanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Gisgakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zulfikar Sangaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Gisgakis having to interfere. Zulfikar Sangaji succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 83rd playminute. APE KJIREAS made a substitution. Theagenis Meraklis replaced Ntinos Kaiafas. Zulfikar Sangaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Minas Gisgakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minas Gisgakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Panagiotopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Zulfikar Sangaji could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Minas Gisgakis made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded APE KJIREAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ximpatzides FC.
