In the 18thth minute of the game Lazaros Rochamis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartans's Panos Rapsomanikis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lazaros Rochamis came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Granαs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazaros Rochamis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Spartans's Nikos Tabakos got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltos Natsis in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Steliou saved Granαs FC from getting behind. If Errikos Koutsouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Lazaros Rochamis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panos Rapsomanikis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Errikos Koutsouris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Miltos Natsis might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikos Steliou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miltos Natsis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Stratos Prelorentzos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Spartans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stratos Prelorentzos couldn't finish the play. Panos Rapsomanikis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lazaros Rochamis sent off a good shot on target. Panos Rapsomanikis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Koutsouris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazaros Rochamis struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Panos Rapsomanikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granαs FC. Granαs FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
