Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miltos Natsis got the match started through his kick off. Spartans's Panos Rapsomanikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Kleftokotakis in the 11th minute of play. Manolis Kanellopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Natsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Spartans's Panos Rapsomanikis got control of the ball when Thanos Theodorakoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanasis Kleftokotakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Rapsomanikis having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Tabakos to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Goura BC's Loukas Tassatos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26th minute, Thanos Theodorakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goura BC's Thanasis Kleftokotakis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Natsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manolis Kanellopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thanasis Kleftokotakis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Goura BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Kleftokotakis couldn't finish the play. Thanasis Kleftokotakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. In the 61st minute Thanasis Kleftokotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Rapsomanikis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Rapsomanikis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanasis Kleftokotakis in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanasis Kleftokotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thanos Theodorakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goura BC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
