After a rather tough play, Triαnda BC's Thodoris Konstantakis got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nikos Voskopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agios Ioanis Ofis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Voskopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iakovos Zoumakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nikos Voskopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Zoumakis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chrisostomos Ignatiou during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chrisostomos Ignatiou kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Nikos Voskopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iakovos Zoumakis. Triαnda BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Voskopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 27 minutes, Thodoris Konstantakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Triαnda BC and the Agios Ioanis Ofis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Triαnda BC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thodoris Konstantakis hit a great ball. Nikos Voskopoulos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Iakovos Zoumakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agios Ioanis Ofis FC. 30 minutes into the match, Nikos Voskopoulos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Triαnda BC's Iakovos Zoumakis. Iakovos Zoumakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Iakovos Papafanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Voskaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Nikos Voskopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agios Ioanis Ofis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Voskopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fotis Kirkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Zoumakis having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Fotis Kirkos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fotis Kirkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Iakovos Zoumakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fotis Kirkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Voskaridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thodoris Konstantakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Agios Ioanis Ofis FC's Nikos Voskopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iakovos Zoumakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
