The crowd rose to their feet as Eutropio Rua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Knut Sundin. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Kyriakos Telemes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, FC Loco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Koutroutsos to maneuver through the defense. Eutropio Rua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Knut Sundin came out and tried to block the shot, but Eutropio Rua slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Eutropio Rua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Knut Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knut Sundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutropio Rua in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C's goalkeeper Knut Sundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eutropio Rua. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manos Vourousis during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manos Vourousis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthimos Svoronos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eutropio Rua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Loco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some careless play in the ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C defense, Kyriakos Telemes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Sundin. The ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Sundin should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Kyriakos Telemes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
