Menios Tsoukalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menios Tsoukalas in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lakis Satratzemis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Katerini FC's zone, Chatziantoniou Orfanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lakis Satratzemis came out of the goal and Chatziantoniou Orfanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Doïráni BC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Orfanos. Menios Tsoukalas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Satratzemis having to interfere. After some careless play in the Katerini FC defense, Stefanos Dimakoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lakis Satratzemis. The Katerini FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lakis Satratzemis should have stopped the shot. Menios Tsoukalas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lakis Satratzemis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doïráni BC. When Eugenios Paxinos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katerini FC's protests and gave Eugenios Paxinos a yellow card for diving instead. Chatziantoniou Orfanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Menios Tsoukalas might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lakis Satratzemis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chatziantoniou Orfanos was the one to do the kick off. Menios Tsoukalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stratos Kouroupetsoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Lakis Satratzemis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Doïráni BC's Menios Tsoukalas. But to his dismay, Menios Tsoukalas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Menios Tsoukalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menios Tsoukalas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Satratzemis having to interfere. Lakis Satratzemis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziantoniou Orfanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenios Paxinos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Chatziantoniou Orfanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Satratzemis having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Doïráni BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Tzekos to maneuver through the defense. Chatziantoniou Orfanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Doïráni BC's Chatziantoniou Orfanos in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Menios Tsoukalass short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Lakis Satratzemis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Katerini FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Doïráni BC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
